Once again, Nene goes into the danger zone to save the day once again as another terrorist attack strikes.
From the looks of it, it seems that Nene and Clarion can’t catch a break as they landed themselves into danger. Takumi is already worried about what happed last time when Nene got kidnapped. This time, it’s not really her fault since she was in the department store with Clarion to shop for supplies when the department store caught on fire from a network outage.
It’s such a coincidence that it happened considering that Janus North and his assistant happened to be the manager of a department store for a day when he announced that he will give free supplies. From this, it obvious that the terrorists will target the department store aside from stealing or damaging supplies because the president chairman is there. They can basically take him out and make it easier to stage a coup.
While it’s unfortunate that the department store caught on fire and Nene and Clarion got themselves in trouble again, thankfully they managed to escape along with the island president and his assistant. It’s quite amazing how Nene managed to create a firewall cloth to protect themselves from the fire as they head to the stairs on an electronic cart while being able to navigate the fire without relying on sight.
On the other hand, Nene found out that one of the children is still inside after they got to the stairs. While Nene risked her life to save him, thankfully Clarion came in time so that she can rescue Nene and the child. With that, this makes me wonder about Nene’s past since she faced a similar situation of losing her parents in a fire. There is no wonder she wants to save as many lives as possible, even if It’s risky. Then again, it’s not so surprising since Nene is trying her hardest to reach her goal of world’s peace and saving people helps achieve her goals.
While Clarion managed to save Nene and left the scene without being detected, thankfully Takumi came after Clarion became exhausted. Still, it looks like world’s peace is becoming an elusive goal given how things are going on the island. Not to mention, the Colonel will probably throw a monkey wrench into the whole thing once his plan starts rolling. Either way, it will be interesting to see where things are headed next.
