Believe it or not, I like how Chika deciding to use violence against Haruta. He deserves it for being such a jerk.
While the mystery will never quite live up to expectations, it seems that there is a mysterious radio station that helps people’s problems that Chika and Haruta listens to. It seems that there was a hikkikomori junior high school student named Aso Misato. She calls a radio station about possibly committing suicide. While the radio hosts did not talk about it seriously, one man suggest something about sun light and jewels. After that day, her life changed for the better.
After that day, she started attending school and gathered people who were shut in their room to create a club that seeks out and mines jewels. The student council finds it odd that they wouldn’t take any school funding and that the club’s president keeps running away. Eventually, Haruta and Chika catches up to her and finds out the reason she was collecting them aside from looking for topaz, which happens to be at a boy’s house where she couldn’t get him to join the club no matter how hard she tried.
In short, while it’s not much of a mystery, it’s nice how a radio station managed to give good advice that changes people’s perspectives of life for the better. It’s all thanks to one boy, Kaiyu who happens to be Serizawa’s childhood friend.
Yep, it seems that everything aligns nicely at the end since not only they got him to come back to school thanks to Misato, they also got him as a new member. While it’s heartwarming to see that, I like how Chika beaten the crap out of Haruta for admitting what he did to her on the radio station she was listening to. He deserves it this time, especially when he says things like gutting his rival like a fish. That is just mean. You just don’t say these things to a girl.
