With Rize inviting her friends to go on a trip together, it seems that things did not go quite as planned. Still, the girls managed to have fun.
Given that Rize planned a trip in the mountains while Cocoa asked her friends to come out to play, you would have thought that things will go as planned. Well sadly, it doesn’t when Rize freaks out after seeing an empty cooler. I have to admit that her reaction to this realization after the SUV drove away with no way to contact someone was funny. With that, the girls have to go with their survival instincts and gather food themselves by fishing and gathering edible vegetables.
From the looks of it, it’s quite amazing that Sharo and Cocoa managed to catch fish at the same time. Meanwhile, I felt bad for Chino since she couldn’t get a single bite on her own. She was able to catch one with Cocoa’s help, but she didn’t receive much satisfaction from that catch. Even so, it seems that she had a lot of bonding time with Cocoa. Still, it seems that Cocoa got an opportunity to act more like an older sister and scold her for being reckless for trying to save the hat from going downstream and catch a fish using it.
Aside from that, there are a lot of fun moments besides Chiya intentionally picking poisonous mushrooms along with the girls throwing buckets of water at each other, which looks fun, especially for Sharo who wanted water thrown on her by her love interest. Not only that, it seemed that Maya and Megu managed to scare Chino so much that she ran out of the tent in her sleeping bag without realizing it thinking there is a zombie attack without realizing the blood was just ketchup. When they did the same prank to Cocoa when she fell asleep first, Cocoa’s reaction to it was funnier given her personality. Moreover, seeing hyper Sharo on caffeine and the girls attempting to do the Mayim Mayim dance, which felt more like the girls spinning around the fireplace in a circle was hilarious.
Despite the setbacks with the missing food and not having enough beds in the cabin, it seems that the girls had more fun outdoors, especially for Chino since it’s her first time leaving town. Of course, she wouldn’t have this much fun without Cocoa. I guess things can turn out well in the end during a vacation despite Murphy’s Law trying to ruin it. It just depends on how one uses the situation to their advantage to make it fun and memorable.
That scene where Cocoa was scolding Chino was actually pretty heartwarming.
The zombie scene got some good laughs from me, lol.
Yep, it seems that Cocoa is showing her own older sister qualities instead of imitating Mocha now.
Still, a zombie show with the girls would be funny considering how much fun they had doing the prank.
Coffee and tea drinking zombie slayers. We found our Gakkou Gurashi 2nd season! I’d throw my money at the monitor for a GochiUsa Gurashi crossover episode.
Rize X Syaro are destined to become canon but we all know that.
This episode gave Cocoa X Chino shippers joygasms to no end.
A cross over will be awesome, although I have yet to watch Gakkou Gurashi… I missed a lot of shows that I should have watched, but I will eventually get around watching it one of these days…
But aside from that, I’m glad that the relationships are progressing nicely in the second season, especially with the last few episodes.
Do give it a go sometime.
Definitely.
