After Akari becomes depressed after realizing the skills she has along with Aria’s sudden decision to possibly stop being her Amica, things are about to get worse with a certain girl after her.
From the start of the episode, it seems that Akari is terrified as terrible things unfolded in front of her. Apparently, Aria became unconscious after being shot two times in the head by Riko. With that, Akari is upset that the person she looks up to is not as powerful she believed. Now, she finds out that Nonoka got poisoned with her clan’s poison, which is supposed to be a secret was used against her two years ago by a black-haired girl. Sadly, Akari didn’t notice until her sister was bedridden in the hospital.
From the looks of it, the girl who is after Akari and her younger sister is Kyochikutou, a mysterious black-haired girl with multi-colored nails. She is part of the I-U, that criminal organization that is also in the main story that targets Butei. While the I-U is after Aria like they are in the main story, they are also after Akari and younger sister in order to try to steal the Mamiya’s clan secret techniques that were used during the olden times since the clan used to be spies. While these killing skills are not needed in present times, Akari’s mother taught them to her and Nonoka with the hope of them using them to protect others from bad guys. Of course, Kyochikutou are after these skills and she poisoned Nonoka two years earlier as Akari and Nonoka tried to escape.
Given Akari’s situation, its understandable why she wants to become a Butei in order to undo the effects of these skills that are ingrained in her and save people. Of course, by suppressing these skills, she essentially suppressed her potential, which Aria noticed with the suspicion that she is hiding something. With Akari revealing the truth that she held back for a long time, Aria finally understands that she is on the same boat and decides to support her.
With the operation to save Nonoka and confront her enemy in full swing, it will be a big challenge for Akari to apprehend Kyochikutou with the help of her friends. It’s obvious that Kyochikutou wants to lure Akari into the I-U by subduing her since it would give her organization a boost. Of course, Akari refused, which makes me wonder how she will arrest her without killing her. Will she modify her techniques to make it non-lethal or come up with a new skill? Either way, I can’t wait to see Akari give the justice Kyochikutou deserves in order to save her little sister.
Kyo would have gotten away with seducing Akari had Akari not been a ditz.
Oh and Kyo having poisoned Nonoka and burning her family home also played a role in her rejection but mostly Akari being a ditz.
Could be a possibility, but I think her motivates lean more towards stealing Mamiya clan’s secret skills to give I-U an edge.
You know I was being sarcastic. We both know Kyo would gladly “have her way” with Akari after getting the technique out of her.
I’m completely aware, but hopefully Akari will give the justice she deserves.
