It seems that Shino is not the only one who is interested in Akari anymore now that Urara have feelings for her too.
For a while now, it’s clear that Shino has a crush on Akari to obsessive levels to the point she challenged her to stop being an Amica for Akari. Now that Akari defeated Urara in the Quartet test and saved her by using a special power during a freak accident, it seems that Urara has a change of heart and now finds her cute to the point that she wants her as her own. As seen from her dream of her tied up in a barn and then tickle her as a form of punishment shows that she seems to love Akari’s ditzy personality. Still, I have to admit that Urara kind of come off bit as a sadist in her dream.
From the looks of it, it seems that Urara wants to make Akari her friend. Aside from giving a bunch of roses with an invitation, it seems that she also threw a party for her to not only celebrate her promotion to D rank, but also to become her friend, something that Shino feared. Still, I find Urara’s reactions to Akari rather cute even though Shino is not amused at all, especially when she infiltrates Urara’s place and decides to duke it out the next day.
As for the challenge, I have to admit that the action is slightly better than the fifth episode now since the duel between Shino and Urara was a sword fight. It seems that Shino had a hard time trying to get close and hit her considering how flexible Urara’s sword is, which almost like a Foil, a weapon used in fencing. Still, I’m surprised how Shino managed to use a technique to trick her in order to save herself from getting defeated by pressing a button on the floor, which surprises Urara, leading to a stalemate with no apparent winner.
In the end, it seems that Shino won mostly because she responded before Urara while Akari saves a girl, who accidently fell off an edge. Either way, it seems that they are now friends thanks to Akari as her harem grows. Still, I highly doubt that the two will give up over winning Akari’s heart. The funny thing is that Shino happens to be voiced by Kayano Ai, who also voices Hoto Mocha, which is Cocoa’s older sister. After realizing this, now it makes sense why Shino is so obsessed with Akari.
Still, I’m curious what the black-haired girl who paints her nails different colors and Riko is up to. Sure, the next episode is a beach or pool episode, but I will bet that Riko or that mysterious girl has something up their sleeves to try to steal Akari from Aria for themselves in the next few episodes. Either way, we’ll see what will happen next time if they decide to do anything.
If there’s anything het-harems have taught me is that chicks dig ditzes. At least Akari’s more likable than your average HH lead. Surprisingly Urara’s love attack wasn’t as dangerous as Shino’s.
You know you’re as hyped for that pool episode as I am. You can wait for Riko and her associate’s master plan a bit longer, or most likely after the sexy funtime is over.
Yep, it seems that Akari’s ditzy personality is very powerful.. but the only thing is that she is completely oblivious to it, which makes it funnier. Still, it’s quite obvious that Akari is more interested in Aria, but oh well, we can still dream.
Still, I wonder what fun things they have plan next time. Can’t wait.
Poor Shino and Urara. I wish them the best regardless.
