Oh no! It seems that Cocoa is now being cold towards her older sister now that her older sister clout got taken away.
It seems that Mocha’s older sister charm is ruining Cocoa’s chance of becoming better than her older sister. It’s very apparent that she wants to be an older sister like her given that she enjoys being with her during their childhood. Now, it seems that Cocoa wants to surpass her, especially in Chino’s eyes.
From the looks of it, it seems that she had a lot of setbacks. When she wanted to be first to do work, she already got beaten by Mocha and Chino for being late. Of course, they had a bake off to bake bread for the picnic. After that, Mocha finally gives Sharo a hug, which is adorable at the picnic, causing Cocoa to become afraid that her friends are becoming little sisters to her older sister. It seems that Mocha’s older sister charm is making Cocoa’s friends become her minions, something that Cocoa is afraid of.
Now that Cocoa is motivated to beat her sister, it seems that she wants to win the boat race. While I expected that Sharo would go with Rize, sadly she is separated and rides with Cocoa. Still, it’s amazing that Chiya or rather, Rize’s team managed to beat Cocoa’s and Mocha’s team despite swirling around at first. I would have thought that Cocoa would win since she drank all that caffeine, but no. She celebrated a bit too early for getting past her older sister that she lost sight of Rize’s team. Not only that, Chiya asked Mocha for a hug, causing Cocoa to become more upset now that her friends have been snuggled by her. It’s easy to sympathize with her, more so with Tippy as she got thrown off Chino’s head and get swept away considering that she does not like getting wet.
After Cocoa feels that she can’t surpass her older sister, I felt bad for her. As a result, she decides to take a bath by herself and even pushed her older sister away when she tried to get into her room. I have to admit that seeing Mocha cry after Cocoa becomes cold towards her makes me sad, but maybe it’s a misunderstanding?
In reality, she was just planning a farewell party for her and didn’t want to ruin the surprise. Not only that, Aoyama, who Mocha thought she was pulling a prank last time came to the party. Aoyama even gave an autograph on Mocha’s rolling pin, which is nice although she couldn’t fit her full name.
While it’s sad to see Mocha go after one episode, it was nice to have her around. It’s clear that while Mocha’s older sister charm is powerful, she can’t unseat Cocoa considering how much she changed. Still, while it’s funny to see Chino perform CQC on Cocoa, it was nice to see more of Cocoa’s past with her older sister and revealing the reason why she wanted to study abroad. Hopefully, we will get to see more of her if Cocoa decides to go and visit her, but she will probably won’t do it for a while.
Aside from that, it was cute to see Rize come to Sharo and hug her out of fear of Mocha cuddling her again. Oh the roles have completely reversed this time as Rize now wants Sharo to protect her from Mocha.
All those CQC references are amusing, for some reason, this anime really loves MGS.
Hence why Rize should be a DLC character in MGSV’s Japanese version.
Yep, they are amazing. While I have played some MGS4, I suck at it and never got pass the first round and I don’t have the patience really… But it’s funny when Maya does it.
Mocha-Sama will be dearly missed. I’m confident she will return to bless her imouto harem once more soon. It didn’t hold back my tears though.
Sharo stepping up for Rize was awesome.
Chiya wanting to be blessed was adorable.
I’m going to miss Mocha alot, but of course there were a lot of cute moments, especially when she was around.
