It looks like Chino is finally taking up ballet dancing during Fine Arts Month thanks to Megumi.
It has been a while since we have seen an episode focusing on Maya and Megumi with Chino since the last two episodes focused on the main cast. Still, it’s a nice change since Maya and Megu are very enjoyable when they hang out with Chino. They decide to participate in a drawing contest and a dance recital, some things that Chino is poor at considering the type of girl she is.
While Megu’s drawing of Tippy is completely plain and normal compared to Maya and Chino’s, I’m quite surprised by Rize’s. Although she doesn’t seem to like drawing art, somehow her drawing of Tippy brings out the realism in her fur. It’s very surprising to see a drawing like this from Rize even though she admitted to not liking art. I guess she excels at anything regardless, which is probably one of the reasons why Sharo looks up to her. Even so, I kind of feel bad for Sharo since Chino, Maya and Megu draw bad pictures of her. It makes me wonder if they done it on purpose or not. I wonder how Sharo will react if she actually saw those drawings at the café.
Aside from that, it seems that Chino is not good at drawing despite putting a lot of effort to draw the Rabbit House from the low score she recieved. Will she do better with dancing? I have to admit that Maya imitating some of Michael Jackson’s dance moves from Smooth Criminal such as the moonwalk was funny. However, I felt that Megu shined the most in the second half. As Chino plays a CD she got from her father, Megu started dancing ballet. I never knew she had ballet lessons, but it’s not so surprising since her mother is a ballet teacher, which can explain why she is good at it. Believe it or not, Megu’s mother almost look exactly like her daughter, except she wears her hair in a side ponytail.
As for the lessons, while it’s nice to see Cocoa, Chiya, Rize and Sharo join, I’m surprised that Rize and Sharo is good at ballet. Probably, this is one of the moments that Sharo was waiting for, being able to dance with her crush. While she got dizzy when she swirled around, at least she was happy. Also, it seems that Rize was blushing too afterwards. This makes me wonder if they got any closer to becoming a couple officially in this episode.
Aside from that, it’s nice to see Megu enjoy herself while Chino expands her horizons besides being a barista. Sure, Tippy missed her quite a lot, but it seems that Chino is pretty good at ballet compared to Cocoa (although seeing he, who crashes into the wall. Hopefully someday, Chino will master it and become able to wear those toe shoes.
Still, I have to admit that it was nice to see Tippy on Cocoa’s head while she watched Chino practice ballet.
Baby steps for dear Sharo. Her dream will come true one day.
Megu shined this week and it was a welcome surprise. Also her mom was candy my eyes happily partook in.
Yep, Megu’s mom looked pretty and I’m surprised that she looks almost exactly like her daughter.
But as always, I’m glad that SharoxRize is progressing, even if it’s slow.
