As Yu finally finds out what the student council does, Tomori shares her story to him.
At last, we finally get to see how Yu’s day at his new school is like. From the looks of it, aside from the fact that the school is filled with students with supernatural abilities, it’s pretty much a safe zone for students to keep themselves safe from those evil scientists until adulthood while developing their abilities. In fact, they show one student that used his ability to help the student council to find other teenagers before they become a test subject.
This time, it seems that the student council tracked down a teenaged boy who is a captain of an archery team who can capture pictures that can see through the clothing. Yep, it’s an ability that everyone will try to abuse in order to take dirty pictures. Still, it’s not so surprising that the people who have these supernatural are usually poor providing that he tried to sell photos of girls. This fact will become important when Tomori shares her past.
While Yuu went with Tomori to come and visit her older brother at a hospital, she finally tells Yuu about her past. It seems that her older brother had a special ability that she didn’t know about. Desperate for money, their mother basically sent them off to a boarding school, which happens to be someone’s science experiment. While Tomori is given fake friends to keep her attention away from her older brother, the scientists performed cruel experiments on him. After a few years, threw him away like a used rag and go to their next test subject. In other words, he is a shell of his former self.
Thankfully, Tomori ran away before things got any worse such as having experiments performed on her. Still, it’s easy to feel sympathetic towards her since the scientists are basically performing these experiments on disadvantaged children with supernatural abilities for science. With that, it makes me wonder who is behind the school that is aimed to protect these students from becoming test subjects or being exploited? Maybe it’s the same person that helped her find a good hospital for her brother? I guess we’ll find out eventually.
Aside from that, it’s quite surprising that the drama kicked in somewhat quickly and showing that there is more on the way. Aside from that, Takajou shows off his ability by cutting the lunch line in order to buy sandwiches and Ayumi made lunch that Yuu doesn’t want. From the looks of it, probably Yusa will most likely get introduced next time as she is the last character in the main cast that haven’t been introduced yet.
I was expecting the new idol girl to appear this week. Didn’t happen. They had it well planned last week with her in the tv and stuff. Oh well. I like Nao quite a lot, she is super kawaii.. Maybe best girl.
Yep, I’m still waiting for Yusa, but I don’t mind the wait since Nao is there and she is cute. Yusa will show up eventually and hopefully they show off her abilities.
