It seems that Marika really dedicated her life to Raku.
Nisekoi 2 – Episode 5
While this episode feels like filler like the original animations, I have to admit that this episode was very enjoyable because Marika is my favorite girl after all aside from Chitoge. I have to give her some credit since she shows a lot of dedication towards him as seen in this and previous episodes. Still, I have a feeling that she is intentionally getting bad grades on tests so that she can have him tutor her. The study session is a good example as she gives a death scare atChitoge while she helps him on a math problem. Even after all the studying, she still has to retake it. This makes me wonder if she is doing it on purpose so that she can spend more time with him. I believe so.
As for her parrot, which she named it after Raku, it is plan evil. Not only he had to take care of it in a certain way, but it also says embarrassing things that get the other girls worked up. Yep, the parrot gave him hell and the only thing that could calm it down is to confess his feelings to Marika without meaning it. I have a feeling that she planned it all along so that the parrot can learn what he said. Still, I wonder how she trained it to say all these things. I guess it will remain a mystery.
With Kosaki’s little sister, Haru making her first appearance in this episode, perhaps we will finally see her for real in the next few episodes, Either way, I can’t wait.
DanMachi – Episode 5
It seems that Bell finally made it up to Hestia by taking her on a date after causing a big misunderstanding from last time. Yep, it seems that the other goddesses want a piece of Bell after they heard that Hestia is going out on a date with him. It comes at no surprise since he has a lot of potential after all.
The big development this time is Bell gaining magic from a spell book given by one of the maids at the pub. After reading it, he instantaneously gained the ability to use magic. Well, what does he does afterwards? Like any person who got a new piece of technology such as a smart phone, he went overboard with the magic and got himself exhausted from overuse. Eventually, Aiz shows up to take care of him and when he realizes that she saved him, he runs away. It makes you wonder when he is going to get the courage to talk to her. At least she was kind.
From the look of the next episode, it seems that Lilly’s problem is the focus of the next episode as she might try to trick Bell again in order to buy her freedom. I wonder how this will play out before she becomes a permanent member in Hestia’s familia for real.
