We are almost at the end of the first half and it looks like Shirou has become a bit clumsy.
I never knew that Shirou would suffer this much pain after fighting against Kuzuki from last time. As expected, the tracing magic he used during the fight has taken a toll on him. As a result, he is having a hard time using one of his arms. After breaking so many dishes, it looks like Shirou is experiencing the same thing as Archer as they both used magic that overpowered their magical circuits while it’s dormant. While he eventually helps Shirou, we see them argue over ideals yet again. I wonder when Shirou’s recklessness over proving Archer wrong is going to cause more trouble in the end. We’ll just have to wait and see as Shirou recovers from the effects of his magic circuits being so week. Perhaps we will finally get to see him as an actual mage instead of being useless for once.
As a whole, not much happens in this episode with Kuzuki hiding in a mountain with Caster. However, we get to see a lot of nice moments with Rin. In the garden, she even gets angry at how Shirou views magic. To me, she is just too lovable even when she gets angry. Not only that, we also get to see how Taiga reacts when she sees Rin for the first time. Either way, I wonder how the first half of Unlimited Blade Works is going to end. I’m already predicting that they are going to end it off with a big cliffhanger like they did with Fate/zero so that we have to wait until next spring to see what happens next. Either way, I can’t wait to see what they will have in store for the finale.
