Rin and Shirou might have found out the master of Caster. Who was it?
From the last episode, my suspicions have become a reality. I was right about the master being a homeroom teacher named Souchirou Kuzuki. While he looks gentle on the outside, he is also dangerous. Although he admitted that he was a killer that reformed himself, he is still dangerous. He basically caught Saber off guard and almost defeated her. Not only that, he almost killed Rin after giving her a powerful blow. If it weren’t for Shirou summoning two swords that resembles Archer’s, they would probably get killed. Either way, it seems that Shirou is now taking fights more seriously. Nevertheless, I wonder why he decided on summoning Archer’s swords. I guess we’ll find out sooner than later.
On the other hand, while Shirou’s last-ditch attempt caused major damage to Kuzuki, which probably rendered him useless for another battle with Caster, I wonder why Caster is in an intimate relationship with him? Also, why did he let her do whatever she wants and kill a bunch of innocent strangers? While this and more will get revealed soon, I have a feeling that this ambush pretty much pushed Caster and Kuzuki into hiding, thus making it difficult for Rin and Shirou to defeat her.
While Rin and Shirou managed to survive from the failed ambush, it seems that the first half is coming to a close. I wonder if Caster will be defeated in the first half or be saved in the second half. Nevertheless, Shinji still manages to be just as cringe worthy like the previous episodes as he talks to Gilgamesh about the next course of action. Since I watched Fate/zero, it’s quite obvious. I’m curious on how much longer it will be until Gil finally kills Shinji for good since he is essentially using him as a pawn.
