It has been a while, but at least we are finally taking a glimpse of Seiya’s school life.
Considering that Seiya has been overworking himself in the past few episodes, it comes at no surprise that he ended up catching a summer cold. I would have thought that his massive ego would stand a chance against a cold, but it doesn’t seem like it. To make matters worse, being absent will further damage his attendance record. To alleviate that, he decides to have Isuzu and the mascots to cover him by using the magic body suit that Tiramie tried out last time. Oh boy, that was such a terrible idea!
While Isuzu didn’t manage to stand out besides having a girl named Kanae that looks awfully familiar to Ichinose Kotomi become attracted to fake Seiya due to receiving, it seemed that the mascots tried to ruin Seiya’s reputation with their reckless behavior. Tiramie probably caused the most damage since he tried to hit on Kanae while Shiina was looking. Once Moffle took the hot seat, Seiya may as well leave the school forever in shame because every female student would hate him. Thankfully, he managed to settle things before things got worse. Nevertheless, I think it was a fun way to show how distant he was during his absence.
While Seiya spent some time not having to worry about school and the park for a few days, I still wonder about Latifah. She seems to be awfully close to him after he collapsed. Once the whole ordeal was over, they had some cake and Isuzu became jealous. Even so, I wonder what relationship Latifah had with Seiya when he was a child. I guess it won’t get revealed until the end. Aside from that, it seems that the elemental fairies will have their own side story this week as Muse tries to figure out her moves for their next performance. It’s probably the last side story since there are only a few episodes left.
