The battle continues as Illya, Kuro and Miyu enter the fray against Bazett.
From the look of things, it seems as if Illya and Kuro couldn’t stand a chance against her. Basically, Bazett countered and tanked every attack coming from Kuro because she already knew every move Archer has. To make matters worse, Illya was no match against her either because of her power levels were low. She was close to being defeated and seriously injured before Miyu came and saved her.
However, if Illya, Kuro and Miyu knew beforehand how to win against Bazett, would they have a better chance to win? Maybe because Miyu just blew it by using Rider’s Noble Phantasm to get back at Bazett for harming Illya and Kuro without realizing her Anti-Nobile Phantasm weapon. If Miyu used regular attacks on her instead, she would have defeated her since her weapon would be too weak.
From the look of the next episode, it seems that Miyu blew it with Illya losing her transformation. Then again, perhaps they still have something up their sleeves. Even so, I still wonder why Bazett wanted to go against Rin and Luvia? Is she jealous that the Church Association took away her assignment for that mission? It seems like it, but I have a feeling that the battle will end with her defeated or being forced to make truce. After all, she isn’t invincible. Still, it’s kind of sad that this show will be ending next week and we probably won’t see a continuation until next year.
It’s a common mistake in the translations, but both Bazett and Rin/Luvia are from the Mage Association, not the Church. *nods*
I would have thought so, but of course it seems that the translations may be off from the official Crunchyroll subs and the fansubs.
Regardless, I look forward to to the last episode.
I bet Rider-Miyu gave a certain person whose name I refuse to mention a boner.
Anyway mega hyped for next week. Hoping for at least a kiss or an epic mega punch from Miyu.
As said earlier, I’m excited for the next episode, but hopefully it will end well for the girls since Bazett can’t get away with injustice of beating up little girls.
