It’s the last week before Fall Semester starts, so it’s time to enjoy what is left of my summer break.
Glasslip
At this point, this show is heading to “what the heck is going on” direction. While I made a mistake last week on what Hina actually said to Yuki, one thing remains true: she has an interest in him. This can explain why he is underperforming all the sudden. It’s perhaps that he can’t live up to Hina’s expectations. To top that off, it seemed that Hiro is still upset over what Sacchi made him do in order to sabotage the date between Touko and Kakeru. While Sacchi reveals that she looks up to Touko to the point that she has feelings for her, this can explain why she desperately wants Kakeru to disappear.
Aside from that, Touko’s visions just gets stranger and stranger, especially when she receives one with Kakeru about to kiss her in the store-room. It makes me wonder if she is seeing into his future or not. Either way, the mystery deepens…
Hanayamata
Just as the girls thought they were ready for their first performance as they perfected the whole routine, Murphy’s Law came in full swing. Sally accidently gives the CD to her younger sister, Machi and of course, stage fright happened with Naru eventually falling during the performance. It seems that they weren’t ready at all. Perhaps Sally messed up during their preparation for their first performance. Either way, Machi will probably give her older sister a good scolding next episode.
Free Eternal Summer
While this episode is filler, it seems that Makoto makes a good teacher. He was able to Hayato overcome his fears and embrace his love for swimming. From this, I wonder if he will become a teacher after graduating high school.
On the other hand, Kisumi suggests that Sousuke had an arm injury. As expected, this will become important in the final episodes since it can explain why Sousuke blanked out during the relay.
Thighs, that is all.
