Surprised that Naru’s dad suddenly noticed how much she changed after six episodes.
Site Updates
This week review will be pushed back to Friday since I need to play a few more hours of Chou Megami Shinkou Noire (getting past the 3rd chapter) before I share my first impressions. With that, the editorial will be done this Sunday (probably focusing on Hanayamata).
Also, Atelier Shallie will still be streamed on Twitch. Not sure about Hitbox since it’s not as stable compared to Twitch. Impressions for that game will be shared next week.
Glasslip
It seems that Yuki’s emotions has finally hit a fever pitch after he got rejected and confessed to by Yanagi. Now, he is so anxious about Touko feelings that he can’t take it anymore. To me, he invited Kakeru just to take it out on him. Shortly after, Yanagi slaps him in the face for challenging Yuki to a race. While some can argue that he was insensitive, I have a feeling that all the male characters in this show are basically punching bags, except Hiro since he doesn’t have a love triangle to deal with. Either way you look at it, it was a disappointing episode to me at least.
Hanayamata
Hana fails English? That’s impossible!
Apparently the club has to get a high enough score on their midterms in order perform at a department store. Hana was the only one that didn’t make the cut since she failed at Japanese, history and English? How did she manage to fail English considering that she is from America, let alone a state that is ranked high for education (New Jersey currently ranks third)? It’s either that she didn’t study hard enough or don’t know enough Japanese to make out the word in English. At least she managed to convince Sally at the end by putting enough effort to improve her weak areas. Not to mention, Hana has another chance to do better on the final exams.
As for Yaya, she wasn’t lucky. Her band did not make the cut. I wonder how well she will cope with her failure next time.
Free Eternal Summer
Compared to the first season, it seems that the training paid off with every member qualifying. Still, it was surprising that Rin lost by .02 a second even though they were neck to neck throughout the whole race.
As for the race between Makoto and Haruka, it was pretty interesting although the latter won. I suppose he just wanted to swim with him like he did during his childhood.
Hello, I was wondering if we could exchange blog links? I really like reading what you think and I am swallowing my pride, XD. I’ll add you to my blogroll here is mine:

Ah…Free! One of the best, 😛
While I prefer people who want their blog added to the blogroll done using the contract form, I already added you to the list. Make sure to add a link back to your blogroll.
Cute girls in SoL usually have awesome dads. My sweet darling is no different. Wonder what he’ll do when he learns of her harem?
Hana got below average in English because she had not spoken fluent English in quite a while. It happens to some people.
Yep, I didn’t mention Naru’s dad, but his reactions are rather hilarious. But it’s kind of understandable as Hana hasn’t been using English. But then again, she should at least have some knowledge of it since she was probably ahead of her English studies in America before moving to Japan.
