Kuro is now invading Illya’s school life. Will she let her ruin it?
While not much happened plot wise besides Kuro transferring into the same class to Illya’s dismay, the main attraction of this episode was the doge ball match. Apparently, Illya’s friends (Tatsuko, Nanaki and Suzuka) and their teacher did not like the idea of Kuro stealing their first kiss, which is why they want revenge. Although I can’t blame them since she done it against their will, the match was still fun to look at even though they didn’t stand a chance against Kuro.
Sadly, the match escalated into a fight after Illya couldn’t stand Kuro ruining what’s left of her school life. I can understand why she feels that way, but fighting in front of her friends is probably not the right way to go about it. Besides, I think she should get along with her so that she can find out more about her existence.
Also, I’m still curious on why Caren is working as a nurse as she barely does anything. She always complains about not getting patients with a serious injury. This makes me wonder if she is there to observe Illya, Miyu and now Kuro. It seems like it since she said that Kuro’s existence is a miracle. Not to mention, Miyu looked somewhat upset after hearing Shirou talking to Illya. This basically places her in the same situation as Kuro since they are hiding something. From the look of the preview, it appears that Miyu and Illya is going to have a fight against Kuro yet again.
What are Kuro and Caren’s true purposes, what is Miyu’s family’s secret and why does her default facial expression look cuter than ever this season even though the changes between both seasons are aesthetic rather than a complete overhaul?
Reading some of the discussion on the forums, Caren is one of the characters from Fate/hollow ataraxia, which is the sequel of Fate/stay night… Not sure what role she has, but it’s clear that she is interested in the three girls. Who knows, she might be the person who came to the town in the last episode of the first season.
Aside from that, yes, the animation is improved from the first season as mentioned in my first impressions post.
