Logy’s dark past finally got revealed as the R&D Division finds a way to reach the ruins. Also, what is the mystery behind the ruins?
The 10th episode was pretty dramatic considering what Logy experienced in his past. Apparently, he was overconfident and unwilling to listen to others since he believed that his engine was going to work. Unfortunately, it failed with a terrible accident that injured one of his friends whom strongly supported his solution. Even so, I was glad that he finally got it to work on the second try with the help of his friends. Of course in the actual game, Escha and Logy had to retrieve the fire gem from the Fire Ruler by themselves along with buying the recipe book from Katla whom price-gouged it initially.
As for the next episode, it was filled with spoilers since I haven’t gotten to the part where I can explore the Unexplored Ruins in the game. Even so, Flameu apparently looks like the girl from the lithograph and the picture books. What I didn’t realize is that the cap-wearing girl in the picture book is actually Escha’s mother who worked on the same project with Clone. Apparently, they were the ones that didn’t want Flameu to leave since they successfully grew an Apple tree. Sadly, she didn’t listen despite their efforts.
With the show finally concluding next week, I have to say that I’m satisfied with this adaptation despite not having much to say about it. While Nio is a walking spoiler for Atelier Ayesha for the fact that Flameu is in the same situation, which can explain why she can hear her voice, it was a nice to see Ayesha show up as a cameo since she pretty much got the shaft. Apparently, Keithgriff despite being wanted by Central is slated to appear in the next game and not her (not to mention, Logy is getting the same treatment as Ayesha). I guess it can’t be helped.
