It seems that Colland has a lot of bad news to share that will most certainly upset Escha.
From the look of it, Threia has collected almost every piece of the lithograph. While I already completed it in the actual game, it does reveal something about the unexplored ruins. The girl on the lithograph actually looks like the character from the Great Adventures of Princess Hummingbird. I’m guessing the last piece is in the Dragon’s Nest, which is being covered in the next episode.
On the other hand, it’s surprising that Threia revealed that Keithgriff is one of her uncles. I’m just astounded that he would go to the trouble and explore that ruin for the fact that he is running away from the law with Ayesha for destroying one. While I don’t think they will show up in this adaptation or in future games, he is right about one thing: the civilization there was probably on the path of self-annihilation because of their misuse of alchemy. Even so, it’s interesting that she would be related to him although one can argue that her family name is very similar to his.
As a whole, while the fight between Colland and Duke was unexpected (yes, it happened in the game too) considering that Escha had a fever, at least it convinced him to approve Marion’s proposal. With that, I’m glad that Escha was happy about the outcome. Still, I wonder why she wanted to visit the ruins. Not only that, why Logy’s past hasn’t been revealed yet considering that they need something more powerful than a hot air balloon to reach the ruins? I guess they will finally reveal it in the next two episodes.
