Shinka decides to run for President for student council. Will she succeed? Maybe.
From the look of it, I was quite surprised that Sanae had a change of heart so suddenly. At first, it looked like Shinka’s desire to become President was merely a dream before Satone came along and convinces Sanae that Shinka is the true Mori Summer. Even so, I was quite surprised that Satone and Shinka knew each other after all these years.
On the other hand, I admit that while I do enjoy the rivalry between the two, I also enjoy Sanae becoming nice towards Shinka. It’s a breath of fresh air seeing her help her campaign. However, it makes me wonder if Sanae intentionally done this to lure out Shinka’s chuunibyou side so she can embarrass her in front of the whole school by showing a photo of Shinka as Mori Summer while reading passages from the Mabinogion. Even so, I’m glad that their rivalry is still alive and kicking.
While it’s sad to see Shinka’s dream crumble within one episode, at the time, I’m happy that she didn’t succeed. If she did, she probably won’t hang around with Yuuta and the others anymore. Still, I wonder about Satone since she hasn’t officially transferred to her new school. I guess we will find out sooner than later and perhaps see another fight against her and Rikka again.
…that scene must’ve been quite embarrassing for Shinka. Poor girl…:D
While I do feel bad for her, but I have to give Sanae credit in how she fooled everyone.
