At least, the person behind the mysterious notes reveals his identity as Rin’s and Riki’s intimate relationship gets cut short.
From the latter half of the first season, I felt very suspicious of Kyousuke for the fact that he won’t be around forever. With him making the four girls disappear (except Komari) in the last episode and now, his strange behavior surrounding his desire to have Rin transfer to another school, he looks very suspicious. I think one can argue that he is trying to force Rin and possibly Riki to grow up, which can explain why he created a baseball team and recruited girls so that she can make more friends before sending them off. It sounds cruel, but it’s what he planned all along as seen with the cafeteria ladies disappearing and the damaged puppet. In short, he influences everything in the world Riki and company is in.
Besides Kyousuke telling the truth to Riki, he also shares another point that is important. When he mentioned the student transfer program, he revealed news about a fatal bus accident. I think this is already a big indication that the world Riki is in is not reality considering that they have a class field trip planned in a few weeks. Even so, I think we finally close to knowing the secret of the world as Kyousuke disappears in the dark forest. Even if we know about the secret and everything looks grim next time, I think he will receive a second chance to make things right so Little Busters don’t have to receive the same fate. Whatever the secret is, I’m ready for it.
