Izumiko’s true identity finally reveals itself.
Compared to last time, I thought this episode improved a bit as it finally shows why supernatural events happen around Izumiko. Besides not being able to use technology, she is constantly afraid and that someone is out to get her throughout the episode when she is in Tokyo. After running around the city and Miyuki reciting the chant, the black shadow happens to be Yukimasa. I’m not sure why Izumiko is still afraid of him, but it remains a mystery.
On the other hand, while they never met Yukarito since she seems to be more focused on driving attention away from Izumiko, something else happens. It seems that her body is a vessel for Suzuhara. This basically explains everything from technology breaking on her and fear coming from demons’ presence. After seeing her being possessed, it was surprising to see Miyuki changing his mind since he doesn’t want to be around her at first. I think it was a change of heart after he realized how important she is. Still, I thought Izumiko wearing some type of kimono and letting her hair down make her look like a completely different person. Even so, she still looked pretty.
While the cause regarding the supernatural events by Izumiko is finally explained a bit, there are still a lot of things that remain a mystery. Who is this goddess who is inside her body that make strange things happen around her? More will reveal once she starts to regain her memories back. Aside from that, it seems like a student named Wamiya seems to worries about her, especially after other classmates bullied her. Maybe he just wants to be friends with her from the looks of it.

Deeply intrigued, but also somewhat confused. I still believe this was all a ploy setup by Yukarito to make Izumiko awaken, but Yukimasa made it sound like it was her own mother out to get her. I might of misunderstood what he was saying. And agree, possessed Izumiko in a kimono looks cute ^^
Btw, digressing back to Win8 from last time comment (since I was late responding) you must be in the msdn alliance to get the license, right? I used to be in the program back in my old college (think all IT/Computer Science majors got it), but the one I am at now is so crappy they don’t offer it : P
It was very confusing and I’m surprised that her mother haven’t shown up… The reason of her wanting to take attention away from Izumiko is odd, but oh well.
But yeah, my college has a MSDN academic agreement, which is why I can download Windows 8 as they now have a Dreamspark Premium subscription… It’s provided to all majors. I’m currently a MIS major for my bachelors, which I’m completing this May, but I’m doing IT Administration for my masters since there isn’t really any MIS jobs and there is a lot of IT jobs, so yeah…

Thought so. Oh and you, too? Guess we have that in common, since that is my major in the school I am in currently. I was in IT (which is why I know about MSDN), but the school I transferred into put me in the MIS field. I am currently working on getting certificates for IT, but will be going back to school for that, since I am only an undergrad and will be done May of next year. Well, I wouldn’t any, since in my area, there were few available, so it is all in where you look. But, I digress and didn’t mean to turn this into a personal discussion, lol.
