It’s Kobato’s birthday, so time to buy her some presents!
While I don’t go shopping since I only buy things I need online, it’s kind of funny how this episode somewhat relates to real life. It’s true that some girls love shopping more than men, especially when they are looking at clothes. There is no wonder why they take a long time. Even so, I liked Rika’s casual outfit since it looked cute on her. Also, Yozora’s outfit on Yukimura doesn’t look too bad. It’s such a shame that Yozora wants to just wear an athletic outfit rather than something a bit cuter on her. I think she would have looked good in a girly outfit.
As for the birthday party, it looked cheerful. The funny part about the birthday party is of course the birthday cake, which has a model of Sena holding hands with Kobato with an endearing message underneath it. Yep, she is not amused at all. But what surprised me is that they sang the birthday song in English. I would have expected to hear them sing it in Japanese, unless there is no such thing. Still, Sena’s present happens to be meat, which is probably the most mediocre gift you can give to a girl. I guess she still lives up to her nickname that Yozora gave her.
Lastly, I was happy that Kate and Maria came to visit after for so many episodes. I kind of missed them, especially when Maria fights with Kobato again. Still, it’s surprising that she would give her a matching necklace even though they don’t get along with each other. I got a feeling that they might be best friends even though they don’t realize it.
As a whole, it was a really cute and enjoyable episode since Kobato looked adorable. While Kate’s assets upset her, she will get there someday. Aside from that, Sena brings up a good point to Kodaka in the first half: what girl he wants as his girlfriend? From the looks of it, Kate and the chairman are already rooting for him to hook up with Sena. However, I think the other girls, particularly Rika and Yukimura are also interested in him and of course, Yozora. Especially for the latter, I don’t think it will go well from the looks of the next episode. Then again, I think they will sort things out again like they did in the past.
Honestly I still think Rika’s new clothes were cute, but a bit too childish for her personality. Yukimura with Yozora’s clothes was awesome…:D
Yeah, Rika kind of look a bit childish, but still adorable… but it seems that Yozora dressing Yukimura seems to come with perfect results… I guess she can’t really compete with her at this rate.
