I think my heart exploded with Kud appearing again.
It’s fair to say that Kud is a rather adorable addition to the group. While her cheerful personality is very similar to Komari’s, she is more childish in appearance and foreign in comparison. No surprise since she apparently lived abroad in different countries and came from a fictional island that was controlled by Soviet Russia (yeah, insert Soviet Russia joke here). Even so, it’s amazing how she was able to catch the baseball with a baseball mitt without fail and that she didn’t know anything about the sport.
On the other hand, it’s just sad to see Kud become lonely and it baffles me why nobody wants to become her roommate. Besides her obsession for Japan in a foreigner’s perspective that turns some people off, she is simply adorable. Kanata, the ice queen decided in the end to become her roommate and it’s kind of surprising given her strictness. Besides for the fact that Kud lends her dogs to her for patrol, I think Kanata has a soft spot for cute girls like her. Because of this, maybe we will see some changes in enforcing the rules considering that Kud is part of Little Busters, thus she might overlook some things, except for Haruka of course.
Given that everyone basically got introduced with Mio added to the mix (except for Saya) it’s almost time to get the ball rolling with the plot. However I felt bad for Kud as she doesn’t have the same qualities of Kurugaya of having a nice figure and knows English well. Then again, I don’t think she should look down on herself since she has some good qualities despite her childish appearance.
