As Éclair miraculously won the important duel of her life, stuff heats up on the other front.
Besides to the heated battle between Leonmitchelli and Éclair, there were a lot of exciting moments that happened in this episode. In particular, Nanami facing off Hina while the battles happen in the sky between Millhi/Ricotta and Cou/Becky. There are tons of fireworks flying around on the Olympic battlefield. Also at the same time, commentators announced prizes that participants can win. However, the exciting part is of course the first battle I mentioned with Nanami and Hina.
Given Hina’s fighting skills that she gained over the years from demon fighting, her victory was predictable. Still, I think Nanami demonstrated a reasonable amount of fighting tactics to make her victory a bit difficult to obtain by throwing obstacles. Freezing the entire floor was one of those clever moves, which prevented Hina from moving. However, the way Hina survived her opponent’s attack in the end and deal a finishing blow to her opponent was still amazing. Sadly, she lost her armor shortly after thanks to the boomerang.
As for the other battles, the one between Gaul and Shinku needs no explanation. They used their hero crystals to make the battle more exciting, although it’s clear that Shinku already got this in the bag. On the other front, the battle in the sky looked pretty, but it seems that neither side blinked for a moment. Both sides threw everything they have at each other. It was so powerful that Millhi and Becky lost their modes of flying, thus Shinku (in his hero form) had to save them. Still, It’s hilarious that both girls’ clothes tore a few moments after he rescued him. Obviously the producers are pondering to Shinku’s love interest to have him become shocked by this development.
With the first day over, it’s kind of funny that Pastillage almost got defeated and kicked to last place again thanks to Biscotti’s forces. Even so, I wonder how “Masked Hero” Adelaide will flip the tables. I’m predicting that there won’t be much an impact since she is fighting against Yukikaze, Shinku and Éclair. Then again, she might barely win this one since she is the “Legendary Heroine” after all.
