It’s finally time for another round of war and it seems that Éclair is experiencing some love sickness.
If it comes down to this, I think this is a dire situation for Biscotti with Éclair at unease with Shinku. While the forced kissing with him in the last episode was a freak accident, the problem I see is the inability to admit her romantic feelings. It was so problematic that Ricotta started to mention it and Éclair just blew up. As they say, love can bring down a person’s ability to do their best and Éclair is clearly showing that. To make things worse, it seems that Leonmitchelli challenged her to a duel just so she can have her on Galette’s side to ignite the fighting for Shinku’s heart between Becky and Millhi. Yeah, that is such a good idea considering that he already confessed to Millhi and will most likely choose her over the other girls in his harem.
On the other hand, the duel between Leonmitchelli and Éclair was tense. The bad thing that came off the bat is Éclair’s unresolved conflict with her self. Although not thinking about it might work, it’s a pipedream since one can’t hold that feeling forever. Eventually it’s going overcome the person, thus he/she will start thinking about it again and get hindered by it. I see this with Éclair as her opponent pounds her down since what she said to Ricotta clouded her mind. It’s kind of scary considering that she was on the blink of getting shoved into Leonmitchelli’s agenda to force Shinku to choose which girl he loves.
Thankfully, this didn’t happen as Ricotta finally apologizes to her at the last-minute. Believe it or not, her speech sounded like a love confession to Éclair. Still, I’m happy that Éclair was able to get up, unleash her secret weapon and defeat Leonmitchelli. Hopefully by now, she will be more open with her feelings opposed to acting nasty when someone asks about love.
While it’s heartbreaking to see Ricotta cry, Biscotti now has a slight edge over everyone as Leonmitchelli has to fight on their side. Still, Galette is a formidable challenger despite losing their princess. With that drama over, I’m fascinated on how the battle in the sky will play out with Millhi/Ricotta going against Cou/Becky. I’m interested in the outcome because both Millhi and Becky have romantic feelings for Shinku.
