Ah Sawa, I can never get enough of you…
From the look of things, I’m glad that everything went well in the end. Not only Konatsu got all the required members for the club, but she also got the approval of the school principal that looked like a European classical composer. It’s a dream that came true as she can enjoy singing without having the vice president controlling every aspect. The part that particularly intrigued me in particular is the principal’s interest in Sakai. It seems that she had issues in the past, although it’s unknown what event caused her to become depressed. Either way, he sees some potential in her, which is probably why he allowed her to form another choir club.
Needless to say, my hate towards the vice principal went even higher because she tries to sabotage Konatsu’s plan. I suppose she hasn’t gotten over last year’s embarrassing incident that got uploaded on the Internet. However, her blatant attempts to prevent Konatsu’s rival choir from participating in the recital shows that she has no shame. That’s right, I absolutely hate her since she is only out for her own interest and doesn’t give a crap about giving someone another chance. No wonder she is loathed by everyone, but they put up with her.
Despite the actions the vice principal took to prevent the second choir club from performing, I’m happy that Sakai, Sawa and Konatsu went against her demands and perform anyway despite the missing people. From the touching song the two sung, it seems that Konatsu proved her wrong and finally gotten over the stage flight while creating bonds with them. As they say, performing or giving a speech in front of a crowd is not an easy thing to do since we are not used to it. Only practice such as performing to a small group will make the problem go away. Hopefully from this, I think the vice principal will change her mind about Konatsu and stop antagonizing them.
So, is this the finale since Konatsu finally gotten over her embarrassing incident? Not so fast, since there is more! I think the producers unintentionally scream “it’s a finale” for this episode when the show is not over. Aside from that, Konatsu’s younger brother easily win the best male character of this season because of his reaction to his older sister’s blackmailing. It’s just funny to see this happen with the genders swapped.
Konatsu singing is really something, but I wonder what will be the focus of the series now that the first hurdle is out of the way…:P
Obviously they haven’t focused on those two guys… maybe the girls are trying to recruit them as well.
