Since Yuuta brought the situation under control, Miu finally gets the spotlight as she becomes stressed out.
One of the things I didn’t mention in my editorial is the distance issue. When I started college, it took 15 to 30 minutes to drive down there, which isn’t a really big deal. I can see the girls’ having a hard time since their school is an hour and a half away and they have to wake up early to catch the crowded train.
It seems that Miu has a hard time adjusting since she sleeps on her desk and nods off in class. I admit that I have slept in class before, but I usually record the lecture so it’s not a big deal. For her, she doesn’t have that luxury and it could impact her in the long term.
On the other hand, this episode was a breath of fresh air since it focused mostly on her and not on Hina, although she is adorable (I’m no lolicon). What I particularly liked about this episode is Nimura. Although girl crazy, he is a very caring person. It shows through their interactions during their faux date when he takes her around to places in addition to cleaning her shoes. Although she dumps him in the end, he comes off as one of the respectable male characters in the show, except for Shuntarou since he is trash. Even so, I find it hilarious how Miu compares him to a sea lion since it fits his personality and appearance.
Of course, there is the Miu herself. Although she is young, many look up to her because of her sense of fashion, maturity and an energetic personality. This is what makes her so popular with everyone. She shows this when she tries on some clothes. As for Sora, well… it’s a different story.
