After the ghost ship returns to the Serenity Star System, Marika gains a lot of publicity from becoming a local celebrity for her actions.
From the get go, this episode felt more like an epilogue of the last episode with the start of a new semester. Believe it or not, we are now in the halfway point and things are bound to get more interesting. With that, I found the urgent message quite surprising in the beginning because it felt like Serenity got attacked or something. In reality, Gruier just wants to award her a metal for bringing the ghost ship back, which allowed them to make peace. Now, the royal family is merely a figurehead as their star system transitions to a parliamentary system. As a result, the two princesses will have a chance to experience a normal life outside royalty.
Considering that Jenny has graduated from the school, Lynn is the new president. She recruits three members that include a really shy girl and a skilled pilot in addition to Grunhilde. Yeah, she will have a handful to manage, but I think everything will turn out fine.
On the other hand, there were some moments with Marika, Gruier and eventually Grunhilde. The first thing aside from trying Marika’s parfait is the administration ring, which she gives to Marika. If you wondered how she was able to sneak on board undetected, this is how she done it. Apparently, Marika’s father gave it to her as some kind of token. Secondly is dinner that happens the next day. If you ate Japanese food before, you should know that eating wasabi straight up is the number one mistake many newcomers make and Grunhilde did just that. It’s not too surprising since she never saw that kind of thing back in her home planet. Even so, her reaction to it was kind of entertaining, although I felt bad at the same time.
Since the two princesses has joined Marika’s harem, competition is surely fierce between the girls. Now we have Mami, Chiaki, Gruier and now Grunhilde. Too bad there isn’t much yuri from the others, except for the earlier moments where Chiaki lashes out on Marika when she gets hugged. Aside from that, the next episode preview certainly looks interesting as Marika brings Gruier on a mission to recruit new members.
