As Sae gets chosen to become the president, Junichi becomes a bit lonely.
In the last episode, Sae got picked as the festival committee’s president by popular demand. However, It kind of leaves Junichi out of the action with nothing to do, which is understandable since she has an important task. Thankfully, he came up with a great idea of recording a non-fiction documentary on her doing work as the president in a committee. Rather than being depressed, I’m glad that he took the initiative so he can stay by her side and keep her company.
After all that effort she put in her work, everything worked out in the end. It was nice to see that she took advantage of her sewing skills and obtained old costumes without having to increase the budget for the Drama Club. Although it drained a lot of energy from her, the kiss she gives to Junichi was rather sweet.
Overall, Sae’s arc turned out okay despite her annoying voice and the narrator. I have to admit that I got bummed out with Junichi not being proactive enough. However, seeing him support her was rather great. With that, seeing them as a family and her being pregnant left me in astonishment. From that, it’s apparent that both scored big compared to the other girls even though Tsukasa also had a child with him several years later. Oh well, at least the two girls got a child in the epilogue out of the whole cast.
With Sae’s after story completed, this only leaves us with Haruka. Considering how flirty she is and the episode title, we can expect some excitement next time.
