Not too many words to describe this, but it was certainly epic.
In the last episode, there were a lot of crazy moments involving an obsessed Kokoro fanboy train conductor, passengers, the Genius 4 and Milky Holmes. In comparison, this episode became rather serious with a lot of action and a brutal defeat. Before the destruction, I found Aresené drinking a crap load of alcohol rather depressing considering that her rivals, Milky Holmes still haven’t retrieved their toys. Not only that, the change of personality when she threw the flower of hope was just weird. I thought she would go crazy and try to defeat them at the spot. However, it doesn’t seem this way and the opposite happens.
Instead of going insane, Aresené decides to throw a “last” feast where she softens up the Genius 4 and Milky Holmes to give her an advantage. As seen in the fight, it was an effective tactic as nobody can defeat her. Despite this, the battle between the Gentleman Thieves and her felt epic. They simply threw every powerful move they have at her, but it fails to make a dent.
From what I have seen, this is perhaps the most brutal episode of Milky Holmes considering the fact that the academy is basically demolished with everyone, including the G4 getting knocked out entirely. Even so, I feel that they won’t end it off here. Instead, a “Deus ex machina” will occur and reset everything back to its natural state.
Aside from that, I liked how Saku finally jumped into the Tablet revolution and used one to fire the Kokoro Canon. It was hilarious, although it fails to hit Aresené and instead, damages the school.
