Thankfully, something new will come out of this besides committing insurance fraud and doing a stage act.
Needless to say, I felt that the last episode was sort of bland mostly for the reason of Marika not managing her time properly. However, something surprising has happened at the end with a girl secretly boarding the ship. Eventually, she reveals herself as Gruier Serenity, who is part of a royal family. Although nobody realizes where her name came from except a few Anime Bloggers, her name is surprisingly based on a cheese, which I find quite hilarious. Even so, I won’t be shocked at all if this is the indication of what princesses’ names will look like. Besides from that, she is looking for a golden ghost ship and wants Marika to help her find it, which she accepts shortly after.
After discovering her, the ship crew decides to hide her in a school back at their home planet. When she introduced herself to the class, it simply attracted the attention from everyone. Not too surprising since they never seen a person of royalty, but it seems that she enjoys her company.
Aside from that, not much happened in this episode besides setting us up for the next arc. I was kind of disappointed with the lack of Chiaki in this episode because somehow, having her appear makes me happy, more so if Marika hugs her. Despite this, I should mention that the ghost ship got hinted back in the earlier episodes. Although I’m not 100% sure, it might be the one that Gruier mentioned about. Either way, it seems that the Space Yacht Club will get involved with the mission judging from the previews. If that is the case, I can’t wait to see what happens next time.
Oh yes, Yacht Club and Chiaki will be returning next week and they’ll shower us with greatness. Also more Marika warming Chiaki’s “cold” heart is always welcome.
Princess Gruier looks better as in her royal garbs than her braids.
I’m guessing Misa took driving lessons from the same driving school as Yukari-sensei. That or adult anime women love driving fast.
Come to think of it, this is true with women in Anime… If I recall, Irisvel was driving 100 mph on a winding road. I wonder how they do it without causing an accident.
