Christmas has apparently arrived 23 days early in this episode and it was wonderful. As for Haruka, well… Things don’t quite work out.
After watching this episode, I’m amazed on how far the girls got to fame. Just over 20 weeks ago, they were just sitting around in the office and begging for jobs. Now, they have a lot of promotions and stuff packed to the brim, thus leaving less time to hang out. In addition, I have noticed that Chihaya and of course Miki is getting a lot more screen time compared to rest of the idols. I can understand why some people don’t like Miki since she is so perfect as shown with her winning an award. Not only that, her personal song, “relations” is oddly one of the three songs that made it through all the games. From this, it looked like she easily breezed through it while everyone else worked hard to thrive for that goal. Then again, it’s not fair to become jealous of her because let’s face it, every girl will have issues one way or another. It’s only a matter of them recognizing and attempting to resolve it.
On the other hand, Haruka who is the main heroine of the whole game in the show is now getting overshadowed. It’s kind of saddening since she is so ordinary that nothing in particular stands out besides her ability to bring everyone’s spirits up. As the girls can support themselves, that advantage is going away. So practically, she needs to work harder and get up there too. Hopefully, through her leading role in the play called “Spring Storm,” she will prove herself and give the present she bought to the Producer.
As for the Christmas Party, I’m quite surprised how Haruka managed to get everyone to join. Not only that, it was Yukiho’s birthday. It’s fun to see her timidly blow out the candles on the cake and receive a mountain of presents from the girls. Also, the Futami Twins and Miki dress up in Santa outfits, which looked adorable. To top that off, I liked how everyone brought so many cakes that there were so many left overs. From the looks of it, you can probably feed everyone for two full days. Either way, the Christmas music they sung was nice, although I kind of wanted them to sing “God’s Birthday” (神さまのBirthday) as it got released on DLC a few days ago.
