Subsequently after the downtime that caused a significant drop in hits, I’m plan to fight with the hosting company so I can get a prorated refund and move to a more reliable shared hosting for another year. Although a VPS is nice and all, I need to learn how to set one up locally before actually taking a risk.
During the downtime, I have taken the plunge and brought the fifth Idolmaster Animation Master, which contains a few notable songs from Episode 13. I promise to post pictures of it once it gets released (and no, not like this).
On the brighter note, last week’s anime was exciting with Mini-Ika returning and most importantly, the Chihaya episode. (Image Source)
Ranked Episodes
1.The Idolmaster – Episode 20
Aside from Fate/zero, which continues to live up its expectations, The Idolmaster has become one of my favorites of this year from the charm it brought. Sure, Hibiki’s episode disappointed me because Jupiter ruined it. However, it got better from there, especially this episode that focuses on Chihaya herself. It’s very touching to see that her deceased younger brother, Yuu motivated her to continue singing and become an idol. Haruka also came out strong in this episode as she managed to obtain Yuu’s sketchbook, write a meaningful letter and a song based off it. The end result of Chihaya’s performance moved and brought tears to the audience. The song was that emotionally powerful and beautiful compared to the mostly fluffy songs in K-ON.
2. Fate/zero – Episode 8
Although nobody dies in the second conflict, there were quite a few interesting developments. For one, Kiritsugu’s Mystic Code gets revealed and it brutally injures El-Melloi with irreversible damages. Also, Kirei makes an appearance and the way he stabbed Irisvel after choking her simply scared the heck out of me. Even so, her ability to tie him to a tree with magical string looked amazing.
3. Shinryaku?! Ika Musume – Episode 6
To make things short, Mini Ika steals the attention away from the first two parts through its mere cuteness and simplicity. If you ignore this, the two parts were somewhat amusing, especially the SP Sanae part. She looked like a professional when she protects Ika. Sadly, her obsession inevitably takes over in the end. It was simply hilarious to see her fall for every trap she set up.
Do you compare IM@S to K-on? The idols are better and not just in music.
