Tomorrow is Halloween. So, this weeks picture fits the mood with Makoto and Hibiki wearing the “My Dear Vampire” outfit from The iDOLM@STER 2. On a side note, the PlayStation 3 version of the game came out last Thursday in Japan. Hopefully I’ll get a copy to play around at years end.
Despite the lack of Ika Musume 2 and a snowstorm that hit the Northeast, which knocked out our power for over 24 hours, this week’s Anime had very exciting developments. Makoto finally gets some time in the spotlight along with Iskander’s/Rider’s epic attack against Berserker. (Image Source)
Note: The Fate/zero Episode 5 post is delayed until tomorrow, unless the power comes back on tonight.
Ranked Episodes
1. Fate/Zero Episode 5
At last, all servants with the exception of Caster, who’s obsessed with Saber for some apparent reason finally makes a single episode appearance. Most notably, this is the first time we see Beserker in action and he is cool despite Lancer’s master using up a command seal in his attempt to beat Saber alongside Beserker. At the end of the day, Rider was victorious in preventing such a disaster from happening while being badass. Perhaps Weaver should learn some pointers from him to become less cowardly.
2. The Idolmaster Episode 17
Thankfully, Project Jupiter did not ruin this week’s episode, even though Makoto almost got into a fight with them. Her date with the Producer was really nice even though he doesn’t process all the qualities of a prince. Inevitably, this date definitely got Miki and the Futami twins jealous, which was fun to see. Not only that, Makoto looked pretty in the princess dress in the ending sequence compared to the magical girl outfit she wore in Episode 15.
Unranked Episodes
Working’!! Episode 4
(Would have ranked #3)
I don’t quite understand why they need to go out and buy whip cream since they have the capability to make it themselves. Then again, that would have defeat the purpose as Otoo’s wife Haruna gets revealed, which Yachiyo becomes upset over. Also, it’s great that Inami got some more screen time compared to the last few episodes. Not only that, her attempt to get over her androphobia is progressing quite nicely.
Tamayura ~hitotose~ Episode 3
(Would have ranked #4)
Not as exciting compared to last episode as Norie and Komachi get into a desert making competition over winning Kou’s heart. Of course, nobody wins at the end, except the deserts.
I do not understand why A-1 goes out of its way to run the best show it’s ever produced. But alas…
I don’t understand either… Then again, Jupiter has a rather negative reaction from Idolmaster fans back when they were added in the sequel. Then again, it may be the inability to produce Ryuguu Komachi that contributed to it, until the PS3 version came out that fixes that. Yep, the fandom is very polarized.
Aside from that, I enjoy most of the shows A-1 Pictures produced besides the Idolmaster Anime, which is very good with the exception of Episode 16 (Kannagi, Sora no Woto, Ano Hana, Working)
At least give me credit when you steal my melative comments…seriously.

Sorry about that… Kind of slipped my mind because of the power outage. I’ll add the source when I get the chance.
This Fate/Zero episode is worth the top spot! Rider was so GAR… 😀
