I have to admit, I’m not a big fan of the Futami twins because they are out of control. Despite the cliché storm in their mystery, they were still entertaining.
In the past few episodes, I noticed that Ryuuguu Komachi has been gaining a lot of attention lately. From their debut, they managed to get more interviews and a TV mini series called “Beautiful Sisters Detectives.” Out of the threesome, Azusa gathered a lot of attention from wondering around in a wedding dress assisting people and showing off her beauty in the last episode. In their mystery production, it was suspenseful and predictable at the same time. I liked how Azusa took out the murderer while wearing a maid’s outfit. It was awesome. Hopefully, the Producer gets his stuff together so that the other girls won’t have their spirits dampened.
On the flip side, what surprised me about the pudding mystery is that some elements are exactly like the story Ami, Iori and Azusa had performed. It’s not just any old pudding they are talking about. It’s Gorgeous Celeb Pudding, which is apparently the most popular and sweetest desert of the whole city. The twin’s investigation that happened after the disappearance was hilarious. They were ridiculously tough on Yayoi as she is poor, which might motivate her to steal it. Likewise, the events that happen after were vaguely familiar with Yukiho fainting while dropping a knife, Mami chasing down Hibiki, Takane covering her mouth and setting up a trap. In the end, everyone got worked up over one cockroach and of course Miki eating one of the puddings since someone ate her jellies. I liked how the twins confess to eating all the deserts from the refrigerator. Wouldn’t this make them equality as guilty? Still, it was nice to see the twins having some fun considering that they don’t get much time to hang out with each other.
With the case of the pudding finally closed, we can put the ordeal to rest… Well, not really because Miki only ate one. In reality, Azusa manages to consume all the puddings without resisting the urge. I’m surprised that nobody noticed her absence during the investigation. Still, the pudding epilogue was really amusing since she says the same lines from the ending, except in the context of breaking her diet. Azusa is simply amazing and knows how to steal the spotlight every time!
Also, I was somewhat disappointed for the lack of an insert song in this episode… Then again, they played like three of them in the last episode, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Wait until you see episode 10. Epic.
So much pudding…how could she eat it all?!
She must be a big eater… but still, she looks alright to me, so I don’t see why she needed a diet. :/
