Since the class trip is finally over, the Kissuisou Inn gets an opportunity of a lifetime… a movie production!
As revealed later in the episode, Enishi always had a dream of making a movie, which Sui accepted. The movie gives him a chance to achieve his dream and potentially boost the business that the inn desperately needs. This could explain the reason why he turned down the offers the other inns. Either way, the movie’s success is important to the inn and he simply can’t let it fail.
On the other hand, there is something interesting that he brought up when he was talking to Takako. Despite Satsuki’s bullying of him, he looked up to her as a role model since she is popular, attractive and intelligent. Like Yuina, she was in a different world. She had no interest in running the inn because of her special traits and the desire to become a writer. From this, I feel that Enishi lacks the self-esteem that Ohana, Satsuki and Sui have. Therefore, he has to rely on someone like Takako in order to feel accomplished. Eventually, he has to grow a backbone and become more confident in himself as doing hard work is not enough to make the movie production successful.
Besides the stuff Enishi is planning, the episode was very lighthearted with the girls getting excited about having a role in the movie. In fact, Nako was so delighted about it that she almost chopped all but one leaf from the tree. To make things funnier, Ohana and Nako was jumping on broomsticks, which most likely commemorated the last Harry Potter movie that released a few days earlier. Lastly, we can’t forget about the pool cleaning since Minko started to have some fun with the hose and start spraying water at Ohana and Nako with the return of the wet t-shirts! Either way, I feel that underneath the anticipation, something ominous for Enishi and Takako might be lurking with the phone ringing. I guess we won’t be able to find out until the next episode where Yuina gets into the action and Ohana gets shot that got the viewers excited already.
Not to mention, Takako wasn’t too annoying in this episode, which is a bit of a shocker since her excessive use of Engrish and bad ideas kind of ticked me off.
