It’s a day before summer holidays starts and Yuuko apparently forgets her questionnaire after she left school. You know what this means. They have to go back into the school during the night just to retrieve it.
Poor Tooru… she always feels unlucky when she falls off her bed while sleeping. Instead of helping her off the floor, Run-chan basically took pictures of her on her cell phone. To make matters worse, she cuts Tooru’s bangs horizontally, making her look more childish, which drives her back into the blankets…
The primary focus in this episode is Yuuko whose appearance is flawless, but she gets easily excited and scared. She shows this quality when she rushes to help put out a fire even though it’s a complete misunderstanding. Yutaka only wanted to remove the dust from her ribbon. Even so, Tooru took advantage of the situation by apologizing to Yuuko. When Yuuko became more embarrassed, it made me laugh even harder. Later, She gives the same reaction when she leaves her questionnaire at school and wants to do it now! The only problem is that she gets scared really easily in the dark, more so than the other girls… After all the trouble they go through, she still manages to leave it behind! Oh well.
Overall, A Channel gives me a rather warm and happy feeling when I watch the girls having fun and being cute. Even though it’s not on the level of happiness shown in K-ON!, the characters are rather enjoyable, especially Yuuko. Somehow, her personality and her voice stands out from the whole cast, more so in this episode when she overreacts. Nevertheless, watching the girls having fun gives a similar feeling that K-ON! gave me, nostalgia of the good times I had with my friends back in high school despite the bullying.
