The future looks pretty grim with Milky Holmes disbanded and with Aresené making an empire of Phantom thieves. It’s the end for Yokohama, right… Or is it?
Continuing from the last episode, the girl was expelled from the detective school. Since they failed to become detectives, all the girls decided to split off and work in separate jobs. It seems that they are so despite, but this is reality. By looking at their despite faces, I felt sorry for them since their dreams went up in flames just like that.
Meanwhile, Aresené or rather Henriette with a lot of rage destroys all the rewards won by Milky Holmes. When I saw this scene, it reminded of the “This Is Your Brain on Drugs” public service announcement with a woman destroying everything with a frying pan that shows the negative effects of drugs. Besides from that, she sets up a trap with herself hanging from the bridge while Twenty disguises as Aresené, which was quite hilarious. Sadly, the G4 epically fails to apprehend the thieves. It was pitiful since the police is suppose to save people, but in this incident… they got locked up instead.
With the help of Touyama, Irene, Princess Claris, Sonia, Mary and Kate, Sherlock was able to convince Cordelia, Hercule and Nero to save Henriette. Sadly they don’t listen until Sherlock explained why they give up on their dreams half way. We all know that this is the worst thing to ever do since a person worked hard to get where they are. Why would someone want to throw it away? The problem I see with Milky Holmes after they lost their toys is the lack of motivation to achieve their dreams. Their deterioration of their friendship and their eventual expulsion from the detective school resulted in no working as a team.
Miraculously, Milky Holmes had their Toys restored near the end with the help of the ring Sherlock was wearing. This allowed her to save Henriette. As a result, the restoration of the Toys leads to really funny scenes with Cordelia getting all excited, Hercule throwing Rat on the ground back and forth and Nero making Twenty’s jetpack go out of control. At the end, Henriette is saved, but she corners Sherlock when she changes into Aresené and leaves us at a cliffhanger!
Overall, it was a pretty nice comeback for Milky Holmes and a pretty fun one. While the sight of being Toys-less, expelled and separated was depressing, it became happy later on. Everyone who Sherlock saved came to help them and it eventually pays off. The only question is, what will ultimately happen in the final battle between Milky Holmes and the Thieves? I guess we have to wait until the last and exciting episode of Milky Holmes.
