In this mysterious episode of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Milky Holmes has a mystery to solve since Nezu was murdered at night. The girls need to challenge their accusation to prove their innocence… (Also, we hit our 500th post milestone!)
Sonia comes over to have a party to celebrate to first time Sheryl met her. With a large feast, the girls invited Nezu to join in. Shortly after, Elly found an Ouija board under the bed. The board can basically answer every question the world throws at it. As expected, Cordelia, Nero and Elly ask the board if they are getting their toys back and it said yes… Sadly, the Ouija board thing becomes really childish when they ask who is the dumbest and meanest out of the people. By using this board, the President of the United States could practically use it to get answers to critical decisions towards resolving the problem.
Sadly, some sociopathic girl murders Nezu with MH on the floor. Unluckily, Milky Holmes gets the blame for it. Geez, the thieves are being way too unsympathetic towards these young girls. It’s pretty obvious that they aren’t the ones that killed Nezu. Also, there isn’t any proof that the girls carry out the murder.
The old ancestors of Milky Holmes who possess the girls’ bodies save the day after they used their detective skills with Sherlock blowing on the bubble pipe… It’s surprising that MH turned out to be 1-3, which is one of the dormitories at the academy. Soon after, everyone found out that Sonia Is the perpetrator. She tries to escape but Sherlock Holmes uses his toys to go after her and it was pretty epic and badass. In the end, it reveals that Sonia wanted to set up a murder scene to see if Milky Holmes is up to solving a mystery and they proved it. As a result, she is transferred out to another detective school, where she can start over from the beginning.
Overall, this is probably one of the best episodes of Milky Holmes besides Episodes 4, 6 and 7. This is probably the first time the girls start using their detective skills for real. While there is no Twenty taking off his clothes, the murdering of Nezu screams Higurashi. I never knew Sonia would turn out to be a murderous yandere from the start.
Lastly, the ancestors mentioned the final test to fully regain the girls’ Toys. That final test has to be apprehending the Gentleman Thieves. It makes me wonder, how they are going to do it without their toys? Who knows? Milky Holmes may be able to defeat them without their powers or with some luck.
