In this hallucinating episode of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, the Milky Holmes girls catches a summer cold as a result from a cruel prank by tsundere Kokoro. Henriette eventually takes care of them. Ironically, she catches their cold in the process…
Unlike the last episode, Twenty steals the show again by putting ice on his nipples just to make them you know… Later on, Twenty goes a bit overboard when he takes a hit from Aresené’s rocket breasts with his nearly naked body with a leopard printed spedo and purple tie… This is probably one of the most hilarious parts of the show besides Cordelia’s hallucinations.
The reason why Milky Holmes is sick is so comical that I can’t stop laughing. Like the third episode with Kokoro telling the girls to do some Twister-like moves so they can regain the toys, Kokoro does it again by having Milky Holmes eat a ton of shaved ice, putting their heads under the waterfall and freezing themselves in frozen ice… Of course it’s not going to work since Aresené affects the Milky Holmes’s Toys… Not to mention, the girls in freezing room that was 42 degrees Celsius below freezing … seriously? Most life cannot sustain itself in that really cold temperature. In the end, Kokoro get a taste of her medicine with the rest of the girls from the G4 freeze her in a block of ice. That should teach her a lesson not to prank Milky Holmes, especially when they have their Toys back.
After the girls were cured of their ailment, they take care of Henriette who also caught their illness. One of the funny things the girls did to Henriette is dressing her in a very familiar outfit that was in the closet. After changing her, they finally found out that Henriette is Aresené and everyone panicked. Well, it took them long enough for both Milky Holmes and the G4 to find out… After the G4 bursts in the room, Sheryl insists that its cosplay. After I heard that excuse, I face palmed. Are you that serious? It’s obviously her, so why didn’t you arrest her than covering it up?
Probably the nastiest thing ever to be used to cure illnesses is Sherlock’s remedy. It consists some of the weirdest ingredients possible. Sherlock then shoves the nasty concoction, which is censored. Afterwards, Henriette’s toys go berserk and everyone is sent different dimension.
I have to say, this is probably the weirdest and funniest parody of Peach Boy (aka Momotaro, which is a Japanese fairy tale) ever. The only difference is that the G4 are the grandparents, Sherlock is the Peach Girl, Cordelia/Elly/Nero are the dog, monkey and the parrot respectively and the villains are the demons. Milky Holmes regains their toys and defeat Aresené once and for all so they can regain the stockpiles of peaches… This was pretty silly, but also very effective since Milky Holmes regains their toys after 7 episodes without them and it cures Henriette in a snap.
Also, the way Sheryl feeds the peaches to Henriette is rather erotic… This makes the girls eating bananas and Junichi feeding Haruka look like nothing!
Like the previous episodes before it, this show is still outrageously silly and enjoyable. This is probably the best adaptation technique ever for a comedy visual novel adaptation. Just throw a shitload of ridiculously funny content and you have a really good show… Forget the omnibus and smashing everything together, this is the best way to adapt visual novels!
Lastly, Twenty in the preview of the next episode was really amusing. I bet that he is on drugs while presenting the next episode because nobody will talk like that in real life.
