After Sora took off her dress from the cliffhanger, we expected that she is going to seduce Haruka. Unfortunately, she fakes us out and only wants Haruka to measure her for the school uniform. Cue uncontrollable rage…
Even though we did not get the twincest that we expected, this episode was good mainly because it did not go over the top. The focus was primarily on the Oujo Kazuha and Akira, Kazuha’s Onee-chan. We learn that Akira lives away from her parents with reasons that remain a secret. In addition, we also learn that Kazuha knows how to sew buttons on a shirt. Haruka even calls her a princess (oujo-sama) because of her mannerisms. Even so, she does not want to be referred as one.
Throughout the episode, Sora felt a bit lonely sitting alone in the house. She even makes text message to Haruka that she is bored and stuff on the phone, but she ends up deleting them. I also noticed that Sora tries to make fun of Kazuha by imitating what she says to her stuff animal. In a way, Sora seems to be jealous at the girls Haruka socializes with. It pretty much shows that the romantic feelings between Haruka and Sora are drifting away.
If we ignore the wet uniform Kazuha had after Akira went a bit too overboard with the hose, the second episode actually had less fanservice than the first episode. It’s pretty good in a way since it did not distract from the developing drama in the story. Even so, I was still a bit disappointed by the lack of Twincest in this episode… I thought this was one of the reasons to watch this show?
For the Omake at the end of the episode, it was just ridiculous and so out of place like the last one. The funny thing I saw in this one is Motoka Nogisaka accidently entering the classroom while Haruka is changing and she kind of grabbed Haruka’s thingy by accident. Even though it’s not as disturbing like Motoka masturbating in bed for some random reason, it was a pretty good laugh.
After watching this episode, I can say that even though Yosuga no Sora looks like a generic harem anime, it was pretty entertaining. Like with most Eroge I played, I mainly focus on the story, not the eroge scenes with the male lead seducing a girl. Yousuga no Sora is not any different. If you look past all the eroticism and fanservice, it has a pretty decent story.
