After the tragic ending of Kanna, we are brought back to the feature where Yukito gets incarnated into this crow that Misuzu talks to. From there, we learn more about Misuzu’s family problems and of course, some really cute moments.
With the perceptive as the Crow (named Sky or Sora in Japanese), the viewers learn about the family problems that Haruko goes through with Misuzu and her father. Since Misuzu’s former family is so dysfunctional, Haruko took her in. However, with the conflict with Misuzu’s father is the reason why Haruko could never give the loving care Misuzu needs. Because of the dilemma, it was taken completely out of context for Yukito since he did not truly understand why they do not get along. With his second chance as being Sky, I believe that he finally understands the whole situation with them regarding their dysfunctional family and he will help break the curse once and for all by getting them back together.
Besides the underlining family problems between the two, it was quite enjoyable to see the other two girls (Kanno and Minagi) and the others react to the crow. Kanno finds Sky and he tries to take off the ribbon. Soon after, Haruko taking Sky to a nauseating motorcycle ride to the temple. Even Tohno made an appearance in offering him a home, but it got away.
My favorite was the scene where Misuzu was making breakfast. She is so clumsy and spilling things over that it was so cute and I burst out with laughter… it was easily the most enjoyable scene in the episode.
Even though the Sky arc feels a bit short, it was important episode to understand the family troubles that Misuzu is going through with Haruko and her father. Hopefully, with Sky watching over her, the problem will most likely be resolved. However, it is going to be very emotional for last two episodes, so I need to be emotionally prepared for the saddest ending in Anime History.
