After taking a three day break from Anime and catching up with some other stuff, I decided to watch more Nanoha. Apparently, Nanoha got her butt kicked two times with Fate. Two losses was enough to make Nanoha go in “emo” mode for a little bit and change her approach in getting those Jewel Seeds and how to deal with Fate.
Unlike the earlier episodes, this one ends on a cliffhanger. Since it would be pointless to write about an important cliffhanger, I decided to watch one more episode so the whole plot would go well with one impressions post (paginated by episodes).
There are many ways to befriend people such as meeting people in real life, by phone or on the internet that share the same interests. However, there is one unusual way to befriend people… How about beating them up and then having someone to yell “stop fighting?” This was evident in Nanoha when the person gets defeated, they become friends. This was true when Nanoha gets into a fight with the tsundere loli Arisa. After Suzuka tells them to stop fighting, all three of them slowly became friends! Of course, this won’t be the last time you see this kind of friendship creation. Just wait until the last episode…
After being beaten by Fate two times, it was pretty obvious that Nanoha will go into “emo” mode and not care about anything. It took awhile for her to get back to her senses and find her purpose in collecting Jewel Seeds and learn more about Fate, but she got out of it.
In the last scene, the battle got pretty intense just to get that one Jewel Seed. They both attacked the seed and try to capture it at the same time. The power from both Fate and Nanoha was so enormous that it causes a big explosion. After that big explosion, we were left with a cliff hanger.
Ironically, Nanoha completely forgets about Suzuka since she was focusing on getting the Jewel Seed. Not to mention, by looking at Nanoha’s recent behavior, it seems like they weren’t friends anymore… or are they? Maybe Arisa is right in that Nanoha is just too busy to think about her friends and not answering Suzuka’s message… Maybe?
Nanoha has a reputation among fans to try to gain friends through violence. I loved that little scene.
