This episode is probably the most funniest one compared to the first season, thanks to Ritsu. They clean out that messy closet and they found a really heavy, pristine guitar that looked like it was never used. Actually, it was Sawako’s and she doesn’t want it anymore and wants them to pawn it and use the money for the club. They end up in the shopping center where Ritsu and Yui fools around while Mugi becomes amazed because she really wanted to go one of them (for herself being a ojou herself have never seen one for herself). They finally pawned the guitar at the music shop and they got 500,000 yen ($5,500 USD in current exchange rates) for the whole thing and the other girls except Mugi becomes obsessed on how to use to money. They clean up and Sawako comes and Ritsu lies about the money. Then, Sawako wants the reciept and she ate it until Sawako takes it out and finds out it is 500,000 yen. She takes the money back and later the club decided on buying that turtle at Azusa saw… Although disappointed at first, she finally makes it her friend and it was cute!
Probably the most funniest episode I seen out of the series thanks to Ritsu… She goes crazy about the money and actually eats the receipt, which is the funny part. Yui, as usual plays around with the stuff in the store and pretending that screw drill was a gun and wanted to use these paint suits as the output for fun. Mugi goes obsessive and tries to use the metal shine thing on a spoon and the faucet and..
Yep… that was the result… Another thing that cracked me up is when Ritsu flashes the money, they go obsessive on how they use it… As they all say, money influences a person’s mind… except Yui have this strange want of wanting to be slapped by treasury notes by her sister. When Sawako takes back the money, Yui requests that and she gets slapped by the notes… Yui must have some fetish of wanting to be slapped by treasury notes… a very odd fetish and extremely funny one at best:
Overall, I laughed my butt off this episode because this was easily the funniest episode out of the whole series… and thanks to Ritsu… anyways… more cute turtle next episode… and I still wonder, who is going to take care of it during break?
