Here comes the finale… Sit tight…
More on Hopkins… He is a war mongering ***hole and insists that war is good and that he want to wipe Rome off the map, and of course bullies Noel calling her the “Witch of Helvetia.” He went so far saying that he wants his soldiers to attack and while a bunch of towns people are protesting against the war. He went so far and tried to arrest Naomi… Wow, that guy is truly a jerk. Too bad he wasn’t shot by Filicia.
From the last cliff hanger, the soldiers shot Aishia, but not in a vital spot. Yumina treats her and that night when the Roman forces are going to attack, Aishia forgives Noel for what she did with the Invisible Death and some Kureha drama… Afterwards, they start up that tank, Kanata gives the attack call and the tank leaps into midair and got to the battle field where Kanata plays “Amazing Grace”, which this version sounds pretty darn well. This causes the soldiers to stop with awe. The Roman General tries to call for an attack, until the Royal forces came and yes, it’s Rio, but Princess Rio and now engaged, signed a peace treaty saying to call off all attacks and then all the soldiers took their helmets off and cheer that there is peace again… and yes, Hopkins must be pretty pissed. In the end, Rio returns back in spring and she gets the glomp from Noel, Kanata and Kureha and also letters, one from Aishia where she is recovering and learning trumpet.
Overall, although the ending is not truey perfect, it’s really good and it seems that Anime no Chiakara pretty much worked their butts off to make this a pretty good series. Although, the length of the show could be longer, the ending pretty much did a good job in wrapping it up with drama, suspense and afterwards, a happy ending. Well, surely this show will be missed, but it’s not over yet as there bonus episodes that can possibly tie up some loose ends… and yes, that scene in the beginning is a Crowning Moment of Awesome…

Well, now for the serious part. We are given a flashback when Noel was developing some Biological Weapon called the “Invisible Reaper” (or Death in some subs) Those memories of that now causes her to become disturbed because well, it’s obviously wrong and it has some relation to the skeleton of the destroyer under the water seen by Kanata in the first episode. Yumina was used to find out what Aishia was saying since nobody understand Roman.
Anyways, the Colonel comes to the town, and yes, this is the same one that want to use the Biological Weapon in the past to hunt down that Roman, They hid her, until Noel screams and Aishia going after her and the soldiers came and do a shot, but we know now what happens. It ends on a cliffhanger. That is just great and well, the spider tanks on the Roman side is coming to that same town. Uh oh, we are in deep trouble now and of course, the ED is out of place yet again.
Or the legend will hold true this time? Well, time will tell until it happens, but since the Spider Tank they have is nearly fixed, I think they will have a chance.
