It’s Valentines Day and Kobato wants a Valentines Day party…
Didn’t you know that in Japan, the girls buys chocolate for boys? Well, Kobato takes an idea from the magazine to have this Valentines Day party. Although Fujimoto thinks it was a foolish idea at first, he allows the idea and Kobato works at the pastry bakery with her extremely moe waitress outfit. When she is about to take the sign in at closing, she sees a blue light and characters from the Tsubasa Chronicles. Thats right, like I said in the previous Kobato post, Madhouse Studio is doing it for revenge.
Next day, Syaoran helps Kobato at her job wrapping something and reveals what they were doing. Kobato also reveals that she wants to go to a place where she can see someone, most likely someone who she loves… which looks alot like Fujimoto playing a very familiar song. After the day of work, they come back to Kobato’s room and they leave for the next world. Afterwards, they had their Valentines Day Party. Ioryogi hears a strange noise and finds out from that scary rabbit that Kobato does not have much time left.
Overall, Madhouse did a very good job with the animation. It looks great and pretty much executed the cameo pretty good complete with Mokonas… that annoy Ioryogi. I also noticed that two of these characters sound vastly familiar… Anyways, I don’t know much since I only watch a few episodes of Tsubasa Chronicles, not all of it though.
However, this episode pretty much reveals that Kobato does in fact loves Fujimoto even though she won’t admit it and this is proven by some flashback and how she feels in the beginning… and the desire to give some chocolate to Fujimoto.
Also, you didn’t notice, the ED also changed! The ED is titled “Watashi ni Dekiru Koto” by Nakajima Megumi
Next Episode: Loan Shark Drama!
