Now they go on a torture field trip on a hot and steamy summer day.
The field trip involves one carrying a very heavy bag along. Kanata, Kureha and Noel checking on three devices that protect the towns along with it, with these heavy bags that is nearly impossible to carry without wearing yourselves out. Kanata, the genki girl found the first box and also the one that decided to have fun in the river, splashing water at Kureha and Noel. However, they have their bags rummaged by animals looking for food and the compass being stolen. They finally abandoned the bags which Kureha complained about when they are traveling… wow…
Without the bags, they found the next box, but got lost finding the next. Somehow, they found the last box and discovered no man’s land, where everything got destroyed. This sorta reminds me of Final Fantasy X where a town was in ruins:
Finally, they ran into Felicia who shows them the names written on the device and also the cave where Rio was waiting, exhausted in getting those berries. Finally they took a well deserved break at the spring.
Overall, this was a pretty fun episode and made me laugh… If I were to carry those heavy bag, I would just give up… I think you need to have alot of strength to carry that 50 pound bag… but even with that strength, you will wear yourself out in the end. Very good setting… but the next episode title makes me wonder though…
I’m surprised the word “Urusai” was used in this episode… I was expecting “Urusai, Urusai, Urusai!”
