Yuuichi keeps a promise in treating Shiori like he always does when she starts attending school before her birthday… and still conflicted with her older sister.
Not much, except we learn about thing else. First off, Shiori had Kaori tell Yuuichi something and seconmd, Shiori illness was something more serious than a cold and it will take a miracle to heal her.
They are called miracles because they don’t happen.
Did I hear that before? Well of course, the visual novel opening.
Another thing we didn’t knew before besides Kaori leaving the room mysteriously when someone mentions Shiori was waiting for Yuuichi at the classroom door… The thing is, Shiori can’t handle hot foods like curry, like in this instance:
And it gets even funnier…
Then, What about wasabi?
Shiori: I don’t even want to look at it.
Hot Mustard?
Shiori: I don’t even want to hear that word.
Tabasco?
Shiori: It’s mankind’s enemy.
Ice Cream?
Shiori: That I love.
Well, that was obvious… and made me laugh… We will see Shiori’s cooking tomorrow. Like always, Kaori is still avoiding Shiori.
Unlike Ryou, Shiori knows how to cook… well, but made a bit too much food that Yuuichi ends up being stuffed… Opps!
However, what Yuuichi needs to do to bring Kaori back and have her recognize Shiori as her little sister again… There must be a way… Overall, it was a enjoyable episode, also somewhat depressing… for that fact I mentioned earlier.
Some differences in the Anime compared to the visual novel. Yuuichi confesses to Shiori and she rejected him:
Yuuichi: Shiori…
Shiori: Yes?
Yuuichi: I don’t normally go in for that sort of story myself, but you know what, right now I’d rather like to give it a try.
Shiori:.. Ehh?! … Wh, why would you…?
Yuuichi: Because I love you. I want to stay with you forever, Shiori. Not just for today, or this month, or this year… I want to be someone who’s always by your side.
Shiori: *silence* Just like a drama..
Yuuichi: Yeah…
Shiori: Yuuichi-san… That’s… not possible. I can’t give you the answer you want…
Yuuichi: Fair enough
Shiori: I… I have to go home now… *turns her back while she walk away* I’m sorry. *runs off*
(Call out After Her)
Yuuichi: Sorry…!
Shiori: Don’t applogize! Please! It’s not you… It’s me….
And… after Kaori talked to Yuuichi at another night… Shiori finally confesses:
Shiori: There something else I have to apologize about… I love you, Yuuichi-san. I think I might love you more than anyone else. I know I mustn’t love anyone. I simply can’t open my heart to anybody. Because… I know… I know it’ll only hurt them in the end… But I can’t help it. I’m sorry… it’s only going to hurt you… but I do love you. I don’t know why I’m saying all this… it doesn’t mean anything in the end. I know it’s only going to make it harder for us. It’s… stupid of me really… I’m so stupid… it’s no wonder my sister hates me… I’m sorry Yuuichi-san That was another lie… anyway, I just wanted to say sorry for all that.
