This episode have gotten even more emotional, more so than the last few episodes…
This episode is rather emotional since Sayaka collapse from all the stress and actually collapse. Kobato with panic runs to Shuichiro to have him to check up on Sayaka. Obviously, Sayaka collaspsed from all the stress and overworking herself and she should rest. If she continues, something worse can happen. Fujimoto and Kobato does something to cheer up the kids. A boy folding cranes give Kobato the idea for all of the kids to make cranes so Sayaka will feel better. They did and evening come and Kobato and laster Fujimoto from his other job stayed behind to look after Sayaka. Fujimoto have Kobato to rest while he looks after her.
Kobato gets directions to create rice porridge and she goes to the nursery to make it. Fujimoto wakes up and comes to the kitchen and sees Kobato making some wierd stew. Fujimoto makes the rice porridge and soon after, Kobato started crying because she was afraid of Sayaka dying from her illness.
Afterwards, after Sayaka ate the porridge, a day later, she felt better
This quote suggests that Kobato have experienced someone close passing away:
Some people really do die just because of some tiny, little thing.
As we know in life, losing someone very close can be very sad and tragic… It’s not a feeling that we want to experience, but people have to move on and not forget them instead of letting it impact their life.
Overall, the episode is pretty dramatic and at the same time heartwarming with Kobato and Fujimoto. Also, it teaches that one should not overwork themselves that result in stressing themselves out and staying up until 3 AM every day. Out of control stress can be harmful to ones health… and people should always have sufficient enough sleep every day.
Next episode is probably on the plot that have been sitting there for a awhile.
