This episode is obviously the Karaoke Box episode since you seen the preview of Episode 10. Basically, Takako decides to have a social gathering by singing karaoke…
First up is Tsugumi-san… and she sang some romantic song, but not as good since she used way too much effort (but believe me, there is alot worse coming later) Second, Daitsetsu sings a ballad, which is sung pretty well for his first time singing. Jin leaves the room out of fear. Next Akiba sings next and Takako already chosen the song for him to sing, but Akiba doesn’t want to and changes it to some pop song, which annoys Takako saying that he have to sing anime songs. When Jin comes back after going into the wrong room, he eventually goes back and Akiba was singing some song nobody knows and afterwards, Nagi presses the button that created a sound of a crowd booing.
Jin is next and sings alone as he denied Tsugumi’s request of doing a duet and nervously sang. After Jin sang, Nagi presses the Encore button, which causes him to yell at her and he ran off. After the break, Nagi sang “The Hello Soybeans Song”, which was very hilarious.
Afterwards, Takako sang, which seems to be obscenely good that it causes Zange-chan to leave the room. The song is Pure Love Generation.
Lastly, Zange-chan sang Love Me Delicately, Please, which was done horribly and she pulled the cutesy act to try and steal Jin, which causes a backlash done by Tsugumi trying to pull Zange-chan off Jin.
You still wonder why Shino didn’t sing… Well, because her eyes won’t open… and you don’t want to see them open, do you?
Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable and fun episode… but don”t karaoke boxes sound fun? Hmmmm. :p
Verdict
9.0/10
By far and away the best filler episode from any show that I’ve seen. Takako’s and Nagi’s performance were the best out of the lot. The former because of how disgustingly good it was and the latter because that theme pretty much came out of nowhere.
